王贤荣，女，1966年8月出生。现任南京林业大学生物与环境学院教授，国际木樨属（桂花属）品种登录中心副主任，南京林业大学樱花研究所所长，树木标本馆主任，中国林学会树木学分会常务副主任委员兼秘书长，中国林学会古树名木分会副理事长，江苏省植物学会理事，中国花卉协会桂花分会副理事长。主要从事植物学相关领域的教学和科研工作，主要是蔷薇科樱属和木犀科木犀属植物分类、遗传多样性、资源保护与利用的研究与技术开发。承担多项相关研究课题，发表相关论文50余篇。主编《中国樱花品种图志》（2014.6科学出版社）专著一部；为《树木学》（南方本）第三版及《中国桂花品种图志》副主编。

1988年7月：毕业于湖北大学生物系，获得学士学位

1991年7月：毕业于华东师范大学生物系，获植物学专业理学硕士学位

1998年1月：获南京林业大学植物学专业理学博士学位
